When I look back now, I would not change
a thing. Even though it was exhausting &
time consuming to plan my wedding, it was
worth every bit.

Upon graduating from college & having the
wedding come to an end, I began to think
about my future.  Since the invitation shop in
Dublin had closed, I seized the opportunity
and began to dream up ideas for my own
business.
You're Invited eventually evolved
and I couldn't be more happier with its
success!
A little bit about me.

On August 20, 2005, I married my best friend.  I could not
have asked for a more perfect day (even though the air
conditioner broke in the church & a torrential
downpour threatened my outdoor reception) it was
wonderful.  Definitely a dream wedding…However,
after 1 year of preparing, scheduling, negotiating and
doing everything else related to wedding planning, I
was tired!!

See, I planned the entire event from the ground up.
My in-laws have acreage in the country & I wanted my
reception to be at their home.  So I, with the help of my
fiancé and family, met with tent companies, caterers,
DJs, florists, bakers, photographers, videographers, a
mosquito sprayer, a portable toilet company & even an
electrician to install a fountain in the pond!!  We had to
choose linens, chairs, tables, dishes, meals, favors,
flowers, centerpieces, music, colors…we got twinkle
lights & hundreds of yards of tulle & tea light candles!
And of course, we shuffled through hundreds of
invitation options.  I needed “save the date” cards,
wedding invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations, church
programs and thank you notes.  Sound familiar?
My mother & I went to a little invitation
and stationery shop in Dublin, Ohio
(which has since closed).  I was able to
look at literally hundreds of different
invitation choices.  At first, I had no idea
what I wanted in an invitation…there
were so many colors, styles and
textures…it was a little overwhelming.

Finally, I found the perfect invitation.
It was classical, beautiful & romantic...
not to mention affordable.  It would
definitely set the mood for my wedding.
I want to take any stress that you may have from planning an event, whether it’s
a wedding, birthday, or baby shower, off your shoulders.  I am here to offer event
